The Build Your Own Electric Curtain STEM Kit introduces students to the fundamentals of automation, electric circuits, and mechanical motion by letting them construct a working curtain system powered by a motor. As learners assemble the components and connect the wiring, they see how electricity can be used to control movement in everyday applications.
This hands-on project teaches key STEM principles such as motor control, switches, pulleys, and energy transfer, giving students real-world insight into how smart home technologies work. It’s a creative and practical way to inspire future engineers and innovators—one curtain at a time!
