Our Teaching Philosophy
Our programs deliver serious, meaningful science in an accessible way. We believe every child is a potential scientist or engineer.
Our 5-Pillar Teaching Model
Growth Mindset
We believe mistakes are a natural and valuable part of learning. Students are encouraged to embrace challenges, persist through difficulty, and view every setback as an opportunity for growth.
Agency & Ownership
Students are encouraged to take charge and make decisions about their learning. By giving them real choices in how they approach problems, we build confidence and independence.
Whole Child Learning
We integrate STEM with social-emotional learning, ensuring that students develop not just technical skills but also empathy, collaboration, and self-awareness.
Scientist Mindset
Students think like real scientists and engineers—curious, observant, and always questioning. We nurture their natural desire to explore and discover how the world works.
Rigor with Purpose
We focus on perseverance, attention to detail, and high standards. Every project has meaningful outcomes that challenge students while keeping them engaged and motivated.
Sample Class Schedule
Our programs deliver serious, meaningful science in an accessible way. We believe every child is a potential scientist or engineer.
Instructor Guided Lesson
Each class begins with an engaging introduction to the day's topic in a fun, relatable way. Instructors use visual explanations of key concepts, followed by a warm-up activity and discussion to spark curiosity.
Project-Based Engineering
The main component features a comprehensive and well-crafted hands-on engineering or science project. With instructor guidance and a focus on safety, students are encouraged to troubleshoot individually and collaboratively.
Move & Stretch
A brain-and-body break midway through class, connected to the daily theme with laughter and team bonding.
Take-Home Project
Students complete a hands-on STEM kit built independently—from radios and submarines to mechanical butterflies, doodling robots, and soft-blade fans. The focus is on pride, accomplishment, and real STEM mastery.
